To map properties between PhantomBuster and HubSpot, open any HubSpot Phantom's setup and use the dropdown menus to match PhantomBuster fields (like LinkedIn headline, job title, or company name) to HubSpot contact properties. You can choose to fill empty properties only or overwrite existing values. Only text and number properties are supported, and read-only properties cannot be updated.
When you connect HubSpot with PhantomBuster, your Phantoms can automatically create or update contact properties in HubSpot, helping you keep your CRM data complete and enriched.
Which Phantoms integrate with HubSpot
You can create or update HubSpot properties when using any of the following HubSpot-compatible Phantoms:
- HubSpot Contact Sender
- HubSpot Contact Data Enricher
- HubSpot Contact Data Refresher
- LinkedIn Profile Scraper (when using HubSpot as a source)
What property types you can map or update
PhantomBuster supports mapping to HubSpot text and number properties.
-
You can only update editable properties, not those marked as read-only.
- You can map data from your PhantomBuster fields (like LinkedIn headline, job title, or company name) to matching HubSpot properties.
If a property doesn’t exist yet in HubSpot, you can create a custom contact property before mapping it.
LinkedIn Outreach actions and property mapping
LinkedIn Outreach actions, such as Invited, Accepted, or Replied, cannot be mapped to HubSpot properties.
These actions appear as activities in HubSpot on each contact’s record instead of as properties you can use for filters or segments.
If you want to use these actions for filtering or automation, you can set up a workaround with Zapier or Make. Both tools let you send LinkedIn event data from your PhantomBuster results to custom HubSpot properties for reporting or workflows.

HubSpot Phantoms automatically create several contact and company properties by default to help you manage context, details, and update history.
You can also enrich your HubSpot contacts with any data a Phantom can extract from LinkedIn, such as:
- Connection count
- Headline
- Bio or summary
- Job title or description
These new properties give you powerful ways to refine your segments and personalize your outreach.

HubSpot Contact Sender, HubSpot Contact Data Enricher, HubSpot Contact Data Refresher, and LinkedIn Profile Scraper (when using HubSpot as a source).
What's the difference between "Fill if empty" and "Overwrite"?
"Fill if empty" only updates a HubSpot property if it currently has no value. "Overwrite" always replaces the existing value with the new one from PhantomBuster.
What if the HubSpot property I need doesn't exist?
Create a custom contact property in HubSpot first, then return to the Phantom setup and select it from the dropdown.
