To connect PhantomBuster with n8n, create a PhantomBuster API key in your workspace, then add it as a credential in n8n by searching for "PhantomBuster API" in the credentials tab. Once connected, you can trigger PhantomBuster automations directly from n8n workflows.

Before you start

To connect PhantomBuster with n8n, make sure you have:

  • A PhantomBuster account.
  • An n8n account.
  • A valid PhantomBuster API key.
    → If you don't have one, see Create an API key. API keys can only be created by workspace admins - if you don't see the Add API key button, check with your admin.

Step 1: Open your n8n dashboard & add new credentials

  • Open n8n and log into your account.
  • From your dashboard, locate and click on the Credentials tab, next to your Workflow tab.

  • Click Add first Credential to create a new integration.

  • In the list of credential options, search for PhantomBuster API, select it and click Continue.

  • Enter your PhantomBuster API key in the field provided.

Step 2: Save and confirm your connection

  1. Click Save. You'll see a green confirmation message if everything is connected successfully.

If the connection test fails:

  • Make sure you copied the full API key without extra spaces from your PhantomBuster workspace.
  • Confirm that your PhantomBuster workspace is active.
  • Double-check that you selected the correct credential type in n8n.
