How to fix it
Test the action manually
Go to the same profile from your browser and try to follow it yourself.
- If it fails, Instagram is temporarily blocking the action. Wait and let your account rest for a few hours (sometimes up to 24–48 hours for newer accounts) before trying again. Once the block lifts, follow actions will resume normally.
- If it works manually, the issue may be specific to the Phantom session. Try refreshing your Instagram session cookie in the Phantom setup.
Lower your activity volume
Go to Behavior > Number of profiles to process per launch, and reduce the number to stay within Instagram's limits. A safe starting point is 10–20 follows per launch for established accounts, and even fewer for newer ones.
