Connect Multiple Social Media Profiles To One Workspace

This guide will show you how to manage multiple social media accounts by duplicating Phantoms and obtaining different sets of session cookies.

You can use multiple Phantoms with different social media profile session cookies. To achieve this, you'll need to use a private or incognito window to ensure smooth management of multiple accounts by keeping session data separate, preventing one session from affecting another.

⚠️ Open a new private window for each social media account before retrieving session cookies.

Retrieving session cookies using PhantomBuster’s browser extension

💡 For LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook use the PhantomBuster browser extension to simplify cookie retrieval.

1. Enable the extension for private windows:

• Chrome: Go to Settings → Extensions → PhantomBuster → Details → Enable "Allow in Incognito.
• Firefox: Go to Settings → Extensions & Themes → PhantomBuster → Manage → Enable "Run in Private Windows.

2. Open a private browser window and log into the social media account.
3. In the Phantom setup, click Connect to... to retrieve the session cookies automatically.

4. Close the private window without logging out, and repeat the process for each profile.

Retrieving session cookies manually

1. Open a private/ incognito window using:

• • Chrome: Ctrl/CMD + Shift + N
  • Firefox: Shift + Ctrl/CMD + P

1. Log into the desired social media account.
2. Right-click on the page and select Inspect to open the Developer Tools.
3. Retrieve the session cookie values as per our guide on manually obtaining session cookies.
4. Paste the session cookie value into the duplicated Phantom's setup.
5. Close the private window without logging out.

⚠️ Don’t log out while closing the window to avoid session cookies from expiring.

Duplicate Phantoms for each social account>

1. On your Dashboard, find the Phantom you want to duplicate.
2. Click the three dots in the upper-right corner of the Phantom card and select Duplicate.
3. In the new Phantom setup, update the session cookies for the new social media account.

Rename Phantoms

Renaming your Phantoms can help you keep track of which profile they correspond to. To rename a Phantom:

• Click on the Phantom’s name in the Dashboard and enter a new one.

Group Phantoms

If you’re managing multiple Phantoms for a single campaign, grouping them can simplify your workflow:

1. On your Dashboard, drag and drop the relevant Phantoms together to create a group.
2. Name the group.
