Manage Phantom Launch Alerts via Email or Slack

This guide explains how to control PhantomBuster notifications across your workspace. You’ll learn how to manage resource alerts, product updates, and Phantom activity notifications via email or Slack.

Email notifications for workspace usage

PhantomBuster sends email alerts when your workspace is running low on resources like execution time or slots. These alerts are tied to the workspace, not your user account.

If you are a member of multiple workspaces, you’ll only receive alerts for the ones you’ve enabled.

Essential system emails (can’t be turned off)

Some emails, like account verification, usage limit alerts, and important system notifications, are essential to keep your account secure and your workspace running smoothly.

These messages can’t be disabled, even if you've turned off other workspace alerts. We do our best to keep them minimal and make sure they’re genuinely helpful.

How to manage workspace alerts

  1. Log in your PhantomBuster workspace and hover over your name in the top-right corner to access your User menu.
  2. If you have more than one workspace, make sure the correct one is selected from the dropdown. Look for the ✔️ symbol next to the active workspace name.
  3. Under your My Space section, select My personal settings.
  4. You are now on your User settings page where you can find the Workspace notifications section.
  5. Use the toggle to turn notifications on or off for each workspace you belong to.

Each member must configure their own alerts. Your changes won’t affect teammates.

You can choose whether or not to receive PhantomBuster's product updates and marketing emails. If you're looking to unsubscribe, follow the steps below.

  3. Under your My Space section, select My personal settings.

Not sure which emails you’re unsubscribing from

If you want to stop product updates or marketing emails, follow the steps under Manage your email subscription above.

If you want to stop email alerts from specific Phantoms (like launch or error notifications), see the section below on Phantom activity notifications.

Phantom launch and error alerts (via email or Slack)

You can receive notifications when a Phantom:

  • Launches successfully.

  • Fails to run.

  • Encounters an error.

These notifications are managed per Phantom.

Email notifications

By default, all Phantoms have basic email notifications enabled.

To customize when you receive email alerts for a Phantom:

→ If you’re setting up a new Phantom, the notification options will be included in Advanced settings option in the setup.
  2. Click the three dots menu and select Setup to access the setup steps
  3. Navigate to Advanced Settings.
  4. Click on the Email Notifications tab and select when you’d like to be alerted: launch success, error, or both.
