This guide explains how to delete a PhantomBuster workspace and what to consider based on your current setup and subscription plan.
Can I delete my primary workspace and keep another one I created
If you've created multiple workspaces in PhantomBuster for different projects, collaborators, or clients, you might be wondering if you can remove the primary workspace tied to your login while continuing to use the others.
Here’s how it works:
- Your primary workspace is the one created automatically when you signed up (formerly referred to as a “personal” workspace), it's the workspace you use to log in to PhantomBuster.
- This workspace is required to access any other workspaces you’ve created or joined.
- Deleting your primary workspace would remove all access, including access to your other workspaces and any data within them.
As a result, deleting your primary workspace separately isn’t supported.
What you can do instead:
- Leave your primary workspace on the Free plan if you no longer need to use it.
- And continue using your other workspace(s) with a paid subscription.
All workspaces now support collaboration, so your primary one can also be shared with teammates if needed. Learn more about how workspace work.
How to delete a workspace (Including all access)
If you want to fully delete your PhantomBuster presence, including your primary workspace and any others you've created or joined, follow these steps:

Back up your data:
Once a workspace is deleted, all data it contains is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.Here's how you can back up your data:

Download results from your Phantoms:
Go on your Dashboard tab, click on each Phantom you want to back up, open the Results tab, and click Download results (CSV) or More (CSV or Json) to save your data locally.

Download leads from your LinkedIn Leads page:
Go on your LinkedIn leads tab, select the leads lists you want, and use the Export all leads option to download them as a CSV file.

Contact Support:
Open a new Support request.Make sure to use the email address associated with the workspace you're deleting to avoid delays.

Confirm your request:
You'll receive a confirmation email.
Deletion only proceeds once you've confirmed.
Plan Considerations
Before you delete your account, here are some things to keep in mind based on your account type:
Free Trial
- No charges during or after the 14-day trial.
- If not upgraded, the workspace switches to the Free plan automatically.
Free Plan
- You can keep your workspace active at no cost.
- No need to delete it unless you want to erase all associated data.
Paid Plan
- Cancel the subscription before requesting deletion.
- Workspace deletion is permanent and removes all content and access.
