Request Permanent Deletion of your PhantomBuster Workspace

This guide guide explains how workspace deletion works, what to consider before making a request, and alternatives to deleting a workspace.

What to know before deleting a workspace

Workspace deletion is not self-service. To permanently delete a workspace and all associated data, you’ll need to contact our Customer Care Team. This extra step helps prevent accidental data loss or workspace lockouts.

Before requesting deletion:

Back up your data

Deleting a workspace is permanent and cannot be reversed.

We strongly recommend saving any important data first:

  • Download Phantom results:
Go to your Dashboard, click on each Phantom you want to back up, open the Results tab, and click Download results (CSV) or use the More dropdown to choose CSV or JSON.
→ Learn more: Access and Export your Phantom Results.

  • Export lead lists from the LinkedIn Leads page:
Go to your LinkedIn Leads page, select the custom lead lists you want to keep, and use the Export all leads option to download them as CSV files.
→ Learn more: Export your LinkedIn leads.

Cancel your subscription

→ If you’re on a paid plan, cancel your subscription before requesting deletion. This ensures no further charges.

→ If you're on a Free plan or Free trial, no action is needed to stop billing. You can leave the workspace inactive.

If you have multiple workspaces

Your primary workspace is the one you created when you first signed up. It’s tied to your login credentials and grants access to any other workspaces you’ve created or joined.

Because of this:

You cannot delete your primary workspace while keeping others active, your user account is linked to all workspaces.

→ Learn more: Create and Manage Multiple Workspaces.

What you can do instead:

  • Let your primary workspace switch to the Free plan if you no longer use it.

  • Continue using your other workspace(s) with a paid subscription.

Alternatives to workspace deletion

In many cases, deleting a workspace isn't necessary. Consider these options instead:

How to request full workspace deletion

If you’re sure you want to delete your workspace and all associated data:

  1. Cancel your subscription (if applicable):
→ Go to your workspace’s Billing section and cancel your plan.
  2. Back up your data:
  3. Contact PhantomBuster Customer Care Team:
    • Open a Customer Care request.
    • Use the email address you used to create your PhantomBuster workspace. This is the same email linked to your workspace.
  4. Confirm deletion:
    → You’ll receive a confirmation email.
Deletion will only proceed once you confirm.

Once confirmed, the workspace and all its data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
