PhantomBuster and the social platforms enforce two different kinds of limits. Your PhantomBuster plan only controls slots, execution time, and monthly credits - it does not add per-action caps, and upgrading it does not raise LinkedIn's limits, because those are set by LinkedIn, not by PhantomBuster. On top of your plan, PhantomBuster also recommends safety limits (daily volumes) to help you stay under each platform's own caps.
The three kinds of limits
-
Platform limits - set by LinkedIn (or Instagram, Facebook, X).
Hard caps the network enforces on actions like connection requests (~100/week, dynamic by account) and search results (1,000 per search, 2,500 on Sales Navigator). PhantomBuster cannot raise these, and upgrading your plan has no effect on them.
→ Full figures: PhantomBuster Rate Limits: Daily Limits by Platform and Phantom.
-
PhantomBuster plan limits - set by your subscription.
What your plan controls is slots, execution time, and monthly credits (email discovery, URL Finder, AI, and CAPTCHA-solving). That's it, there are no hidden per-action limits beyond these. Upgrading changes these, not the platform caps.
→ Details: What Each PhantomBuster Plan Includes.
-
PhantomBuster safety limits - recommended, not enforced.
The daily volumes we recommend to keep your activity under the platform caps and avoid restrictions. These are guidance to protect your account, not a hard block.
Upgrading your PhantomBuster plan gives you more slots, execution time, and credits, but it never lifts LinkedIn's own limits.
Frequently asked questions
Why did I get far fewer results than expected?
For example, "I saw 600 profiles but only got 50." This is usually LinkedIn's per-search cap or the per-launch setting in your Phantom, not a PhantomBuster limit. See Why LinkedIn and Sales Navigator searches return fewer results than expected.
What does "No remaining invite credits" mean, and when does it reset?
It means you've hit LinkedIn's weekly connection-request limit, this is LinkedIn's limit, not PhantomBuster's. It resets on Mondays, and upgrading your PhantomBuster plan will not increase it.
Don't confuse this with LinkedIn Company Page follower-invitation credits, which are a separate, page-admin limit that resets monthly. See How to Fix the "No remaining invite credits" Error.
Will upgrading my plan let me send or scrape more?
Only up to the platform's limits. Upgrading gives you more slots, execution time, and credits - but LinkedIn's weekly and daily caps still apply regardless of your PhantomBuster plan.
