Cancel your Subscription and Downgrade to the Free Plan

This guide shows you how to cancel your subscription, what happens afterward, and how to preserve your data. You can cancel at any time from your workspace’s Billing section.

You must cancel your subscription yourself from your PhantomBuster workspace, our Customer Care Team cannot do this for you. You can do it quickly by following the steps in this article.

What happens when you cancel

Canceling your subscription does not delete your workspace. Instead:

  • Your workspace will switch to the Free plan at the end of your current billing cycle.
  • Your current subscription will stay active until that point, with no feature limitations.
  • You can continue using all Phantoms, Workflows, and features during the remaining time.

If you're on a monthly plan, access continues until the end of your current billing cycle. 
For example: if your billing date is the 4th, your subscription remains active until the 4th of the following month.
If you're on an annual plan, you retain access through the full paid year.

How to cancel your plan

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Log in your PhantomBuster workspace and hover over your name in the top-right corner to access your User menu.
  2. If you have more than one workspace, make sure the correct one is selected from the dropdown. Look for the ✔️ symbol next to the active workspace name.
  3. Under your Workspace section, click Billing.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Cancel subscription.

  5. Follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation.

You’ll receive a confirmation email, and your subscription will be scheduled to end at the close of your current billing cycle.

What happens to your data and automations

Canceling your plan will not delete your workspace or erase your data.
You’ll still be able to:

  • Access your workspace.
  • View Phantoms, Workflows, and setup history.
  • Download past results (while your subscription is still active). 

Once your plan ends and your workspace moves to the Free plan, some limitations apply:

  • You won’t be able to launch most Phantoms or Workflows.
  • Scheduled and repeated launches will be paused.
  • CSV exports and other paid features will no longer be available.
  • AI Phantoms and email discovery will be disabled.

Before your plan ends, we recommend downloading any important data or results you want to keep.

What if I'm on a free trial

There's no need to cancel your trial as it ends automatically at the end of the 14-day period, and you won’t be charged unless you upgrade to a paid plan.

If you’ve decided not to continue using PhantomBuster:

  • You can remain on the Free plan with limited features.
  • Or, if you want to remove your account and data entirely, you can request full account deletion by contacting our Customer Care Team.

Can I resubscribe later

Yes, you can reactivate your subscription at any time:

  • Log in your PhantomBuster workspace and hover over your name in the top-right corner to access your User menu.
  • If you have more than one workspace, make sure the correct one is selected from the dropdown. Look for the ✔️ symbol next to the active workspace name.
  • Under your Workspace section, click Billing.
  • Choose your plan.
  • Your automations and saved data will still be there when you return.
