To cancel your PhantomBuster subscription, go to Billing in your workspace settings and click "Cancel subscription" at the bottom of the page. Your plan stays active until the end of your current billing cycle, then your workspace switches to the Free plan. Your automations and data are preserved, you can resubscribe at any time.

How to cancel your subscription

Don't see the Cancel subscription button? If the button is greyed out or missing when you reach Step 4, see Can't find the cancel button below, it covers the three most common reasons.

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Log in your PhantomBuster workspace and hover over your name in the top-right corner to access your User menu.
  2. If you have more than one workspace, make sure the correct one is selected from the dropdown. Look for the ✔️ symbol next to the active workspace name.
  3. Under your Workspace section, click Billing.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Cancel subscription.

  5. Follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation.

You'll receive a confirmation email, and your subscription will be scheduled to end at the close of your current billing cycle.

Can't find the cancel button

If the Cancel subscription button is greyed out or unavailable, this usually means one of the following:

  • You're not the Workspace Owner.
Only the person who created the Workspace (the Owner) can cancel the subscription. Check with the person who set up your PhantomBuster Workspace, or look for the Owner's name under Workspace settings.
  • Your subscription is already scheduled for cancellation.
If you've already canceled, the button won't appear. Check for a banner or note on the Billing page confirming your cancellation date.
  • You're on a free trial.
Free trials end automatically, you don't need to cancel. See "What if I'm on a free trial" below.

If none of these apply, get in touch with our Customer Care Team and we'll help you cancel.

What happens after you cancel

Canceling your subscription doesn't delete your workspace or erase your data.

Before your plan ends

  • Your current subscription stays fully active until the end of your billing cycle.
  • You keep access to all automations and features with no limitations.
  • If you're on a monthly plan: access continues until the end of your current billing month.
For example: if your billing date is the 4th, your subscription remains active until the 4th of the following month.
  • If you're on an annual plan: access continues until the end of the paid year.

After your plan ends (Free plan)

  • Your Workspace switches to the Free plan.
  • You can still access your Workspace, view Phantoms, Workflows, and setup history.
  • You won't be able to launch most Phantoms or Workflows.
  • Scheduled and repeated launches will be paused.
  • CSV exports and other paid features will no longer be available.
  • AI Phantoms and email discovery will be disabled.

Before your plan ends, we recommend downloading any important data or results you want to keep.

Frequently asked questions

Can I downgrade instead of canceling?

Yes. If you want to keep using PhantomBuster but on a smaller plan, you can switch instead of canceling. Like cancellations, monthly plan downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. See How to Upgrade, Downgrade, or Change your PhantomBuster Plan.

Can I pause my subscription?

PhantomBuster subscriptions can't be paused. This also applies if you're looking to temporarily stop payments, put your subscription "on standby," or stop using PhantomBuster for a few weeks or months.

If you need a break, the recommended option is to cancel your subscription and resubscribe later when you're ready. Your Workspace, automations, and data will still be available when you return.

Can I change my renewal date?

Renewal dates can't be changed for either monthly or annual subscriptions. This also applies if you're looking to postpone a renewal, delay payment, or renew earlier than the scheduled date.

If you can't pay at your next renewal or need more time before renewing, you can cancel your subscription before the renewal and resubscribe later when payment is possible.

Will I be charged again after canceling?

No. Once you cancel, your subscription is scheduled to end at the close of your current billing cycle. You will not be charged again unless you manually resubscribe.

Will my data be deleted after canceling?

No. Your Workspace, automations, and saved data are preserved on the Free plan.

Can I resubscribe later?

Yes. Follow steps 1–3 of How to cancel your subscription above to reach the Billing page, then choose your plan. Your automations and saved data will still be there when you return.

What if I'm on a free trial?

You don't need to cancel your trial. It ends automatically after 14 days, and you'll only be charged if you manually upgrade to a paid plan.
After the trial ends, your Workspace automatically switches to the Free plan, which includes limited features and no billing — so there's nothing you need to do to avoid being charged.

If you don't plan to upgrade, you have two options:

  • Do nothing: simply let the trial expire. Your Workspace moves to the Free plan, your automations and data are preserved, and you won't be billed.
  • Delete your Workspace or account: if you'd rather remove everything entirely, see How to delete your PhantomBuster account or workspaces.

Either way, no charge applies unless you choose to upgrade.
