Looking to identify people currently searching for new opportunities on LinkedIn? Here’s a quick guide on how to do it using PhantomBuster’s automation tools — whether you’re using regular LinkedIn or Sales Navigator.

✅ If you're using LinkedIn Search Export:

You can extract people using keywords like:

  • #OpenToWork
  • Looking for new opportunities
  • Actively seeking
  • Seeking new role
  • Freelance available

Combine these with titles or industries:
"Open to work" AND "Marketing Manager"

Then input that search URL into the LinkedIn Search Export Phantom to collect leads.

💼 If you're using Sales Navigator Search Export:

You can take things further with Boolean searches:

("Open to work" OR "Looking for new opportunities") AND ("Product Manager" OR "Marketing Lead")

🔎 Bonus filters to try:

  • Spotlight → Changed jobs in the last 90 days → These folks may have left roles recently.
  • Current job title / Past job title → Spot people transitioning between jobs or open to new roles.

With the right search setup, you can efficiently build a list of potential candidates, freelancers, or consultants who are actively looking. Let us know how you use it or if you need help building your search query!
