How many LinkedIn accounts can I connect to one Phantom?
PhantomBuster’s multi-account feature lets you connect several LinkedIn accounts to a single Phantom. This allows you to share the workload across accounts, stay within LinkedIn’s limits, and extract more data without putting a single profile at risk.
Supported Phantoms
Multi-account support is available for:
- LinkedIn Search Export
- LinkedIn Profile Scraper
- Sales Navigator Search Export
- Sales Navigator Profile Scraper
How it works
When you connect multiple LinkedIn accounts to a supported Phantom:
- The Phantom rotates between accounts automatically.
- It respects rate limits per account, helping you extract data more safely.
- The per-search result cap (1,000) still applies, but results are split across your accounts.
For example, if you’re exporting from a search with 3 accounts connected, each one will extract part of the 1,000-result total.
Is there a limit to how many accounts you can use?
There’s no fixed cap, but we recommend:
- Starting with 2–3 accounts, depending on your volume
- Keeping an eye on activity per account to avoid platform restrictions
- Being mindful of your workspace limits (slots, execution time)

Thank you for this post.
I am currently planning to link multiple (a maximum of 3 accounts) LinkedIn accounts from my colleagues to my PhantumBuster account. I have one colleague's LinkedIn linked to the following Phantom “Sales Navigator Search to Lead Outreach” but I would like to set up the same Phantom for my two other colleagues. I have read some articles on safety measures recommended for agencies when using multiple accounts. E.g., to not use the same IP, etc.
So my question is, if I am only using around 3 LinkedIn accounts in the same PhantumBuster account, do I still need to take these precautions, or is it not necessary?
Hi Fabian,
Thanks for your comment!
If you're only connecting 2–3 real colleague accounts to supported Phantoms, you generally do not need advanced precautions like separate IP addresses, as long as:
The “separate IP” advice mainly applies to agencies managing large volumes of unrelated client accounts at scale.
As a general suggestions, we always recommend to start automating slowly and gradually increase your activity.
For further information on how to use your account (or somebody else's), we advise reading our guides: Automation Rate Limits by Platform and Popular Phantom (with daily limits) and How to Connect LinkedIn Accounts to PhantomBuster: Yours or Someone Else’s.
