How To Create a LinkedIn Leads List

This guide walks you through creating a new LinkedIn leads list. By following these steps, you can ensure that your lead generation process stays organized.

Understanding the LinkedIn leads list

When you use PhantomBuster to extract and scrape LinkedIn profiles, the collected leads are stored in your Leads Database. This is where all the information from your LinkedIn Phantoms is aggregated.

You can view and manage your leads through the LinkedIn Leads tab, where all the extracted profiles are kept in the default All Leads List to enhance the lead management process.

Why create a custom list?

Although all your leads appear in a master list, creating custom lists allows you to organize leads by specific criteria (campaigns, industries, job roles, etc). This helps keep your leads well-organized, preventing different types of leads from getting mixed together.

You can quickly find leads within your target audience, saving time on prospecting. It also lets you enrich and clean your data, ensuring accuracy and minimizing outdated information. The custom lists can be used for personalized outreach and streamlined campaigns, optimizing your lead generation efforts.

  6. Filter the list to include only the necessary leads.

Can my list contain duplicates?

Each lead needs a LinkedIn profile URL, which is used to avoid duplicates, ensuring there's only one version of each lead in the database.

However, the Leads list can be updated whenever a Phantom identifies a change in the lead data.

💡 For example, if you launch LinkedIn Profile Scraper to collect a lead’s job information and then launch it again later, the Leads list will automatically update if the lead has changed jobs.
