To connect PhantomBuster with Clay, go to Settings then Connections in your Clay workspace, search for PhantomBuster, and paste your PhantomBuster API key. Once connected, you can import Phantom results into Clay workbooks or push leads from Clay to PhantomBuster to trigger automations.
Before you start
To connect PhantomBuster with Clay, make sure you have:
- A PhantomBuster account.
- A Clay account with access to integrations.
- A valid PhantomBuster API key.
→ If you don't have one, see Create an API key. API keys can only be created by Workspace admins - if you don't see the Add API key button, check with your admin.
Step 1: Open your Clay workspace
- Open Clay and log into your account.
- Click your profile name in the top right corner.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Open the Connections menu & search for PhantomBuster
- In the Settings panel, click the Connections tab.
- Click Add Connection.
- A pop-up window will appear with a list of available tools. In the search bar, type and click on PhantomBuster when it appears in the list.
Step 3: Paste your API key in Clay
- Paste your PhantomBuster API key into the field provided.
- Give your connection a name like My PhantomBuster Account.
- Click Test Account & save.
You'll see a green confirmation tooltip if everything is connected correctly.
Start using PhantomBuster with Clay
Once PhantomBuster is connected to Clay, you can:
- Import your Phantom results directly into a Clay workbook.
- Send leads from Clay to PhantomBuster to trigger Phantoms.
- Structure and organize Phantom data in Clay for filtering or enrichment.

- Double-check that your API key was copied correctly.
