The "No contact has been updated in your CRM" message appears when a CRM sync Phantom runs successfully but doesn't update any contact in your connected CRM. In most cases the Phantom is working as expected and there's simply nothing new to update. Common causes are the 10-row free plan limit, all queries already processed, or a temporary processing delay. Checking the launch logs confirms which of these applies.
Why you’re seeing this
This is a general message shown when the Phantom runs successfully but doesn’t update any contact in your connected CRM. It can happen for a few common reasons:
- You’ve reached the 10-row limit on the free plan, so no additional contacts can be updated.
Upgrading your plan removes this limit and allows the Phantom to update more contacts. - All queries have already been processed, meaning there are no new contacts left to sync.
- There’s a temporary issue on our side, such as a short processing delay or rate limit affecting the CRM connection.
In most cases, the Phantom is working as expected, but there’s simply nothing new to update.
Phantoms impacted
This message can appear when running Phantoms that update or enrich CRM contacts, including:
- HubSpot Contact LinkedIn URL Finder
- HubSpot Contact Sender
- HubSpot Contact Data Enricher
- HubSpot Contact Career Tracker
- LinkedIn Profile URL Finder
- LinkedIn Profile Visitor
- LinkedIn Profile Scraper
How to fix it
Check the launch logs
- Open the Phantom's Console page and go to the Activity tab.
- Hover over the activity with the error and click View log on the right-hand side (if needed, see How to access and check the Phantom logs).
- Scroll to the Output section to see the detailed message.
Common messages you may see include:
- “All queries have been processed” - There are no new contacts left to sync. The Phantom will pick up new contacts on its next run once they're available.
- “You’ve reached the limit of 10 exported rows allowed by your free plan” - If you’re on the free plan, upgrading your subscription will lift this limitation and allow the CRM sync Phantom to update additional contacts.
These messages confirm why no contact was updated.
Frequently asked questions
What does "No contact has been updated in your CRM" mean?
It means your Phantom completed its run but didn't make any changes in your connected CRM. This usually isn't an error, it's a status message telling you there was nothing new to update.
Is this message an error or is my Phantom working correctly?
In most cases the Phantom is working correctly. The three common reasons are the free plan limit, all queries already processed, or a short processing delay on our side.
Why does this happen on the free plan?
The free plan is limited to 10 exported rows per export, so CRM sync Phantoms can't update more than 10 contacts per run. Upgrading to a paid plan removes this limit.
Which Phantoms can show this message?
Any Phantom that updates or enriches CRM contacts, including HubSpot Contact LinkedIn URL Finder, HubSpot Contact Sender, HubSpot Contact Data Enricher, HubSpot Contact Career Tracker, LinkedIn Profile URL Finder, LinkedIn Profile Visitor, and LinkedIn Profile Scraper.
How do I check what's blocking the CRM update?
Open the Phantom's Console, go to the Activity tab, and view the log for the relevant run. The Output section will show the specific reason, whether it's the free plan limit, all queries processed, or a temporary issue.
Will upgrading my plan fix this?
If you're hitting the 10-row limit, yes. Upgrading to a paid plan removes the export cap and lets the Phantom update more contacts. If the cause is "all queries processed" or a temporary issue, upgrading won't change the outcome because there's nothing to update or the delay is on our side.
