Update your Personal Settings and Workspace Preferences

This guide will explain the difference between User settings and Workspace settings in your PhantomBuster account and how to access and update each.

Accessing settings

You can find both personal and workspace settings from the same menu:

  1. Log in your PhantomBuster workspace and hover over your name in the top-right corner to access your User menu.
  2. If you have more than one workspace, make sure the correct one is selected from the dropdown. Look for the ✔️ symbol next to the active workspace name.

Then:

  • To manage your personal settings, go to the My space section and click My personal settings.

  • To manage your workspace settings, go to the Workspace section and click Settings.

Manage your personal settings

Your personal settings apply only to you, no matter how many workspaces you're part of. They won’t affect teammates or workspace-wide preferences.

In your personal settings, you can: 

  1. Update your name and email: Edit the first and last name tied to your account and update your login email.
  2. Change your password: Keep your credentials secure and up to date.
  3. Manage newsletter preferences: Decide if you want to receive product updates and tips from PhantomBuster.
  4. Enable developer mode and beta access: Try out experimental features and tools before they’re released.
  5. Configure workspace-specific notifications: Control alerts like usage limits or execution time warnings.

Changes made here affect only your user profile.

Manage your workspace settings

Workspace settings apply to the specific workspace you're viewing. They control shared preferences like billing, launch behavior, and how your workspace is identified.

In workspace settings, you can: 

  1. Set the workspace name: Customize it to match your team, business, or client project.
  2. Adjust the time zone: Determines when your Phantoms launch and how timestamps are displayed.
  3. Update billing information: Edit the workspace’s billing name, company name, address, and VAT number for invoices.

    Updating the time zone applies to future Phantom launches, it won’t affect those already scheduled.

Changes made here apply to all members of the workspace.
