The LinkedIn Leads page is a built-in database in every PhantomBuster workspace that stores up to 100,000 LinkedIn and Sales Navigator profiles. Leads are added automatically when compatible Phantoms or Workflows collect LinkedIn profile URLs, or manually via CSV import. The page deduplicates leads by profile URL: if a lead already exists, it's updated instead of duplicated, and any manual edits you've made are preserved. You can filter, group, export, and launch automations directly from your leads.

What the LinkedIn Leads page does

The LinkedIn Leads page is available in every PhantomBuster workspace. It's designed to:

  • Store LinkedIn and Sales Navigator profile data from compatible Phantoms and Workflows.
  • Avoid duplicates by checking LinkedIn profile URLs.
  • Let you group and filter your data into lists for outreach or enrichment.
  • Give you quick access to export, edit, or launch new automations.
  • Support up to 100,000 leads per workspace.

The LinkedIn Leads page isn't optimized for mobile use. For the best experience, use a desktop browser.

How leads are added

Leads can be added to the LinkedIn Leads page in two ways:

  • Automatically, when a compatible Phantom or Workflow collects a LinkedIn profile URL, or
  • Manually, by importing leads from a CSV file that contains LinkedIn Profile URLs.
→ To learn how to import leads manually, see How to import LinkedIn leads from a CSV file.

Key behavior

  • If the lead is new, it's added to the database.
  • If the lead already exists, it's updated instead of duplicated.
  • Only Phantoms and Workflows that collect LinkedIn profile URLs will send leads to this page.

You can still add leads from Phantoms that are not compatible by chaining them with a compatible one (like LinkedIn Profile Scraper) to pass profile URLs into your workspace.

Data collected only from LinkedIn company pages (for example, with the LinkedIn Company Scraper or LinkedIn Search Export) is not added to the Leads page. Only company information linked directly to a collected profile will appear.

How lead data is updated

When a compatible Phantom or Workflow processes a profile already in your workspace:

  • New information replaces outdated values (like a new job title or location).
  • New fields are added (such as additional emails or phone numbers).
  • Any manual edits you've made to a lead are preserved, they won't be overwritten.

This ensures your lead data stays fresh while preserving any edits you've made manually.

The LinkedIn Leads page supports a predefined set of profile, company, and enrichment fields

What happens if you reach the lead limit

Each workspace can store up to 100,000 LinkedIn leads.

If you hit this limit, here's what to expect:

  • You may see a message like: "Your organization has reached the limit of 100,000 leads."
  • New leads will no longer be added to the LinkedIn Leads page.
  • Your automation will continue to run and save results in their downloadable results files.
  • In your console logs, you may also see: "X leads could not be sent."

To keep storing new leads, you'll need to free up space by deleting older ones. Before deleting, make sure to back up your leads
→ Learn more in Export or Clean Up Leads.

You can also send leads to HubSpot for long-term storage before cleaning up your database:

Frequently asked questions

How are leads added to the LinkedIn Leads page?

Leads are added automatically when a compatible Phantom or Workflow collects a LinkedIn profile URL, or manually by importing a CSV file containing LinkedIn profile URLs.

What happens if a lead already exists in my LinkedIn Leads page?

The lead is updated with new information (like a job title change) instead of being duplicated. Any manual edits you've made to the lead are preserved.

What is the lead limit on the LinkedIn Leads page?

Each Workspace can store up to 100,000 leads. Once you hit the limit, new leads won't be added, but your automations will continue running and saving results in their downloadable files. You'll need to delete older leads to make room.
